Denis Drygin

Denis brings more than 20 years of experience in drug discovery and development. He holds an MS in chemistry from Moscow State University and PhD in molecular & cellular biology from UMASS, Amherst. After completing postdoctoral training in pharmacology and toxicology of oligonucleotide-based therapeutics with Dr C. Frank Bennett at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Denis held various leadership positions in the biotech industry including VP of Biology at Cylene Pharmaceuticals, co-Founder and VP of R&D at Pimera Therapeutics, CSO at Regulus Therapeutics and Acting CSO at Jaan Biotherapeutics. During his career Denis played leading role in discovery and/or development of 5 therapeutics that entered clinical development (Quarfloxin, Silmitasertib, Pidnarulex, PMR-116 and RGLS8429), and co-authored more than 100 abstracts, peer-reviewed original research manuscripts, reviews, book chapters and patent applications."
